Whooda thunkit (or "Don't Hate-Exfoliate! It's great!")

The Provisions Library, a resource center for activism and arts, is hosting an exhibit called "Change Methods: Hip Hop, Social Change, and Global Influences" That includes an online archive of exhibition resources ( click the link above).

As I was ego-surfing last night, I came across the page...it contains links to a number of essays from writers and emcees from Tricia Rose to Jean Grae to Medusa to Mark Anthony Neal to yours truly. Its some nice company.Plus they clipped a recent photo from my website.

Imagine my surprise (and stifled laughter) when I roll across the link. and it goes to a page on the website of my former D/DC bandmate, Ralowe Trinitrotoluene Ampu aka G Minus (pictured). The page (lovingly titled "Juba's Ass") is backgrounded by a photo of me from a San Francisco Bay Guardian cover story on D/DC, and contains my email/messageboard response to some public accusations by Ralowe following his quitting D/DC and the band recieving a nomination in the 2003 Gay Shame Awards (in a category that he himself created for the awards...the page has been active on his site since Summer 2003, as well as a similar page entitled 'Tim'm's Ass" featuring an email exchange with D/DC co-founder Tim'm West).

I'm gonna go with the idea that a link and a photo of me means they thought I had something to say that was at the least_interesting_.

Ah, yes..even when the haterade is fast a flowing, that beautiful bubly foam just rises to the top.

Or maybe G_d just don't like ugly. I dunno. read for ya self.
